About the Author
Mary Barr has been a writer of fiction for over thirty years. She was educated in England, New Zealand and Australia due her father Mary Barr has been a writer of fiction for over thirty years. She was educated in England, New Zealand and Australia due her father's military assignments in the RAF and later as an engineer. She is now semi-retired from a fast paced life in promotions, marketing, advertising and business. It was through this association that she enjoyed many hours doing voice-over and animation work, co-hosting a radio talk show and appeared in the media and on TV. Her years spent writing advertising, speeches, and public speaking took her to many countries throughout the world. From her travels she drew life experience and understanding of different people and their cultures. Mary Barr remains true to fiction; she appreciates that 80% of all fiction readers are women and chooses loyalty to that demographic. In the early nineties a work accident saw her confined to a wheelchair after partially severing her right ankle. It was this event that encouraged Mary Barr to change direction. Her passion to write, design jewelry and create artwork now encompass her days. Mary Barr's stories are created solely from her imagination and promise to keep you turning the page, all the way through to the rapt conclusion. Mary Barr and her rich imagination currently reside in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada.
