  I got the same warning except it was more like books or ME! I chose books of course but switched to ebooks but reading on a phone is a drag! I love my kindle and i take it everywhere with me but i read a few statements on the computer that said they break down after a year and you lose all your books and i have had mine for 10 months and spent a lot of money on books. I am disabled so if my kindle breaks down i will lose everything and cant afford to replace it or the books so i hope i do win a kindle fire as i cant do without my kindle,i love it too much.

I am not very fussy and any Kindle will make me happy I am a quad and spend most of my time in bed reading since sitting for long periods is hard to do. My Apple isnt working anymore so I am using my iPhone which is difficult but I’m not complaining! I’ll just keep on entering this contest until my thousand kindle books find a proper home! Reading about all the new Kindle ereaders was so interesting and would love love love to win one. I have so many ebooks from Amazon on my laptop that would love to be on the Kindle fire. On the unemployment line makes it so hard to afford a Kindle so I will keep trying to win and just know that eventually I am bound to get lucky.. Can hope right.. I LOVE my Kindle which is the first one to come out. I got it for my birthday and it’s one of the best gifts I’ve ever gotten!! I’d love to have the Kindle Fire because I’d love to have the back lighting. But chances are I won’t win this one but I’ll have my first one to enjoy every night before I go to sleep!! I love to be able to download in the middle of the night no matter where I am. Home or traveling. It’s fabulous! I LOVE MY KINDLE!

Second reply: After reading some of the other comments about those who want a Kindle….I just wanted to say…..NEVER MIND. I already have one and am so happy with it. I just wanted to upgrade but can’t afford it. Thought this was a good chance, but give it to someone like the teacher who works with autistic kids!! Or someone equally deserving!!!!! As a long time Kindle e-reader enthusiast, I believe that the Kindle Fire HD have come of age to be a worthy small tablet that can supplement and occasionally substitute for a laptop rather than just being a media consumption unit.

At least I hope that is the case, but perhaps I will win one and find out if this is true.
