The Sunday Arrangement is not for the faint of heart. It's one of those books that once you pick it up; it's hard to put down. From the beginning, the reader is introduced to interesting characters, an intriguing storyline, and descriptive narration. As the story progresses, the reader easily becomes engrossed in the hidden desires of the main character Lauren. What starts out as her innocent fantasies soon turns into reality as her wildest dreams begin to come true. What some readers may find exciting and arousing quickly leads to scenes that could make even the hardiest readers of this genre blush. I found it to be honest and bold, and I found myself cheering for Lauren along the way.
Would I recommend this book? Absolutely - to anyone who wants to take a walk on the wild side and have fun all along the way! The characters are rich, well thought out and believable. The story line is interesting and takes plenty of turns to keep you wanting more. The sexual relationships Lauren has are fun and sexy, and leave little to the imagination. The best part of this book however, is the twist you don't see coming. When I finally put the book down, I wished it wasn't over. I wasn't ready to quit living vicariously through Lauren, and for me, it ended too soon. But isn't that true of all great books?
