While I was hesitant at first to purchase this book as I have never tried meditation before, this turned out to be a smart, insightful and extremely helpful 30 day guide to meditation. The author managed to keep the guide down to earth, straightforward and packed full of easy techniques and advice so that I was able to grasp the concepts of meditation and use it to my benefit. From understanding the various types of meditation to explaining easily the basic methods and tenants of meditation, this book is a smart little guide to understanding and incorporating meditation into your life for beginners. I've only been using these meditation techniques for a few days and I can already feel a difference in my mind and body... from a more calm and centered mind to a more relaxed body. Overall, this was a great book and it was well worth the read.
