Think of a softer version of an Almodóvar movie, mix it with a dose of Anglo-Saxon humour and you'll have a rough idea what this book looks like. This is the sort of high risk proudly oddball literature that tends to be unbearable when it goes wrong. In this case, fortunately, it didn't. Actually it went right, very right - if you like oddball literature, that is. And it’s even more fun when the author takes risks and gets away with it, isn’t it?
