Here's the set-up:
Kate’s husband leaves for work and doesn’t come back. She spends three years searching for him until she wakes one day to find him asleep in her bed. He asks for seven days to prove his love. Should she let him back into her life? And is a week long enough to learn the truth?
One Reviewer Notes:
Seven days to tell her is one of those stories that suck you in and swallow you whole. From page one, I forgot where I was, at times who I was. I too was in London and Aix en Provence, I too was a heart surgeon, living her anguish, at the end of seven days, I too had to decide if he would stay or go. The plot twists and turns right to the very end leaving the reader drained yet gasping for more. But this book is much more than a fast paced story of love and deception. Ms Soames has the gift of pinning down complex emotions with an economy of words that stays with the reader long after the book has been put down. I believe this is the first of Ms Soames's novels in print, she is definitely a name to look out for.

About the Author
You meet a man. He You meet a man. He's perfect. You fall in love. You marry him - even though everyone tells you he's too wild and passionate - but he gets even better. Then one day he disappears. He leaves no note, no reason, no way of finding him. After three years, you move on - chuck out his stuff, cut your hair, find a 'safe' man and go for a great job. Then you wake up one morning with him in your bed. He asks for seven days: a week to hear his story and listen to yours. Is a week long enough to face the truth? After teaching literature in London secondary schools, I now lecture on Comparative Education. I'm married with two children and live in France. This is my first novel. I really hope you enjoy it.
