The Rhevireon: [Collector’s Edition]
We are glad to let you know, that your daughter has met the requirements, in other words, we have chosen her, and now she belongs to our community. And so for the well-being of your daughter, you shall not see her before a long, so long time; unless you keep your half of the bargain. We appreciate your understanding.Yours sincerely
Ushered in by the House of Beith Brenhams, six of the crème de la crème industrial-banking dynasties of North America, ally together to wholly subjugate the nation, the American society, politics, and religions.
On the vernal equinox of each year, eighteen virgins are to be selected, for the pagan night, a mass wedding, the polygamous mass.Alaska native, college student Hoyden Vergismeinicht was one, the morning she mysteriously disappears—to no return.Leaving a foster mother behind her, Madam Arenithe; and the closest person to her heart, Dusk Keiseraef, with no choice but to…The Rhevireon, a story like no other, like a dancing ball where Nietzsche meets Freud somewhere in betwixt an anachronistic present and alternate history, a whispering tale of two worlds, ours against theirs, of betrayal’s triumph over loyalty, of mad greed over trust, of perseverance succumbing to despair, and fidelity to lechery; before the dormant spark sealed inside the faithful chest, burns and returns the scale into balance.
5 Star Amazon Review
“This book is really something else. The depth of the world created by Maxvell FitzJesiden is stunning. Set in a dystopian future where the banking elite run every facet of America (already sort of happens already haha) we follow our heroes on a search for a missing woman. It’s a dense, psychological read, but well worth it for the reader who wants something challenging and complex. Very good read.”
Editorial Reviews
“A game-changer. Gets one bound by the allure of its foreign accent, foreign to time and place.” –The Editorial.
“This is very impressive. Clearly you have an ear for words, and that is not a common gift.” –Richard Kahn, English Professor at Ibn Zohr University.
Words of praise for The Rhvireon:
“…masterly distilled, and intricately designed.”
–Albert McGill, Amazon Top 500 Reviewer.
“…A numero uno debut.”
And “…a game-changer.”
ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Maxvell FitzJesiden, (born 15 December 1991) as Ayoub El Yazidi, into a Moroccan middle-class family.
I’m a college student/aspiring novelist, one year away from earning my B.A. in Anglo-media studies. Being fascinated with architecture, science, Hellenic/Persian arts, and the Western canon since an early age, I proceeded to work on my debut novel, The Rhevireon. I was done with the first manuscript at 21, way back to 2012.
Today, I am planning to carry on with my goals in the States, yet determined to conquer the traditional publishing quarters.
