Here’s the set-up:

Seasoned detectives Jade Reynolds and Samuel Cobb are embroiled in a case of their careers, when a town becomes host to ruthless evil. Appearances are deceiving, and the more they learn, the less they know, stifling their investigation. As more corpses are discovered, unraveling the killer’s malevolent puzzle becomes a race against time. The duo must join forces with FBI profiler Greg McAlister and a cub reporter, Markus Brenner to unmask a vicious killer who has redefined cold-blooded murder. Can they stop the faceless predator that lurks in the shadows, stalking, taunting, and disarming this once-safe haven its residents’ call home?

From The Author

It’s often said ‘it takes a village to raise a child’. I feel the same regarding the process of preparing a manuscript from conception to (finally) a book! This process is certainly not a solo journey. Many people along the path, with their individual talents, let the author shine.

During the planning of this book, I had many questions and I turned to individuals who graciously gave of their time and expertise. I thank the investigators from the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office for procedure in revocation of preliminary rulings. The Center for Disease Control provided a wealth of information involving toxic compounds.

This is my first novel and I’m currently working on my second. The basis of my plots and character development comes through my many years in behavioral health. If we had a script foreshadowing our tomorrows based on patterns learned from others, would we read and apply the lessons?
