One Reviewer Notes

“Relations, by Pamela D. Beverly was a very entertaining read. It was a funny, serious, realistic, and romantic story with believable characters. Also, I found it very relevant to today’s society. The author seemed to have an excellent grasp on the overall racial environment. She covered the topic of interracial relationships keeping in mind that there are some people who have accepted it with open arms, while also illuminating the opposition towards it. I was especially impressed with her knowledge of the two main settings: a metropolitan city like Washington DC versus the southern town of Savannah, GA. As a southerner myself, I am familiar with both. It’s been a long time since I’ve read a good novel and I wanted to take my time getting to the end because I just didn’t want it to end. Perhaps there will be a sequel to Frank and Delilah Ellis’ story. At any rate, in the future I hope to see more novels from Ms. Beverly.” – Amazon Reviewer, 5 Stars
