Welcome to Bonfire Academy! Set in the foothills of the alpine mountains in St.Moritz, this exclusive private school caters to a special kind of student. Enter at your own risk... but if you are human, you may not want to enter at all. WARNING: This YA story is set in a school for paranormals who are very different from normal human teens. Thus, the language and some scenes might not be appropriate for younger YA readers. Recommended for those sixteen and above.
One Reviewer Notes:
Cordelia has been chosen to be Faustine's mentor. This wasn't in her plans for the year, but as the year went on, they became good friends. Both girls are Demons. As would be expected in a school full of paranormal's, things are constantly in upheaval. There's never a dull moment, so it's really hard to put this book down.
The Portal Chronicles and Faustine have been YA books, but Ms Rose has gone a little more into the Adult arena with Initiation. Be prepared for some serious language and sexual situations. The sex is not explicit, but it's more than I would call YA material. As an adult, I enjoyed the book, as much as I have all the others.
