Here's the set-up:
Eighties rock star Bodhi had it all; fame, fortune and legions of
adoring fans. But his world came crashing down when the legendary rocker
killed two off duty fireman while in a drug and booze induced haze. For
his crimes he is sent to prison for four years. While in prison the
bi-racial Bodhi becomes a target of Nazi skinheads. At the urging of his
cellmate, Bodhi attends a Muslim prayer service. In the weeks and
months that follow, the once peace-loving and devout Buddhist converts
to a radical form of Islam. By the time he leaves prison, he has decided
to devout his life to jihad. Within a year of his release, Bodhi dies
in a plane crash. Or does he?
Fast forward to present day New Haven, Connecticut. Trevor Douglas, a local college professor is found murdered in an alley in the Elm City. The only witness to the crime swears the killer is the long-dead rock star. As it turns out the dead professor was a former music producer who worked with Bodhi. In the days that follow, Tommy O’Leary, a longtime fan of the dead rock star, and his partner and love interest, Susan Kendall, frantically search for their killer who continues to leave bodies in his wake in an around the Elm City. What they discover along the way is a terrorist plot that could rock the world.
