Lisa M. Lilly’s poems and short fiction have appeared in numerous print and on-line magazines, including PARADE OF PHANTOMS, STRONG COFFEE, and HAIR TRIGGER. In addition to being an author, she is an attorney who handles appeals and class actions. After her parents died in 2007 from injuries caused by an intoxicated driver, Lisa joined the board of the Alliance Against Intoxicated Motorists (AAIM). AAIM works to prevent DUI-related deaths and injuries in Illinois and aids victims of intoxicated drivers.

Lisa’s first published novel, THE AWAKENING, is an occult thriller with a young woman as the hero. Lisa is currently working on Book 2 in THE AWAKENING series.
