But first, a word from ... Today's Sponsor
This novel is rich in descriptions so you feel that you are truly in the midst of the Johnson family. Because of the creative way the author draws you into the family's worst nightmare, you experience all the emotions of the parents and children. I could not put this book down until I knew how it ended.

One Reviewer Notes:
I grew up in 70s Seattle and she hit it right on the spot. It was a strange time when the small town big city lost her innocence. She brought me right back to my childhood while spinning a captivating tale. It's appropriate for teens as well as adults...might give the younger generation a more real idea of life before cable TV, computers, cell phones and the rest of the digital age. When we played outside ans really did explore abandoned houses ride mini bikes through wooded areas and climb onto roofs in the city limits. Now our kids can't even go barefoot, and the world is much less innocent. Enjoy this look at the good and not so good of the “good ole days“ her excellent story painting draws for you. I could see everything like a movie ln my head.
