Here’s the set-up:

When Linda Carlton moves into a 55+ apartment building, she has no idea she is being set up for murder. In a quaint little village, 90 miles north of Los Angeles, it seems someone is targeting the residents of Sun River Senior Apartments. After several residents are found murdered in their bedrooms, two undercover detectives move in.
