This author has put together the most descriptive story I’ve read in a while! The words flow into each other and the combined sentences become the chapters, and pages of a wonderful, gut wrenching story of love!
Certainly not your usual “I Died & Went to Heaven Story!

Just a wonderful, sad, lovely, hope filled book. I thoroughly enjoyed the characters and the ending most of all! It may not be a book for every reader but for those of us who believe in those we love and in our life together after death this book is amazing!

Slice of life, out of body experience

Well written and amazingly well edited. Drew me in, bit by bit until I thoroughly hooked. Emotionally potent, and worth the journey. I can easily see this being true, in for what many will see as very challenging to traditional Western views of the afterlife. Death is but a doorway, and as long as we remember to love, therein lies fertile ground for hope, faith, and happiness.

Tagore once wrote, "God respects me when I work, but He loves me when I sing." It is written elsewhere that, if you want to be happy, first, define what happiness is, next, count your blessings, and then choose to be happy. The last part is absolutely essential. Savor the moments that come to you because life is often a struggle. Believe. Hope. Love. Be a friend. It's also written that it is through family and friends that burdens are lessened and joys are magnified. One finds peace or discord first within one's self; all else is a mirror. Recommended.

This is absolutely one if the best stories I have EVER read. It is a beautiful story that gives you hope in a future. This is the first book I have read by this author and won't be the last. A must read!

This feels like one of her earlier books, and her plots have gotten much better and more involved. I am a fan of her latest books.

This book dropped in my First Reads and not the typical type of book I choose but something told me to try something different . (I was getting a tad burned out on crime drama). I could not have made a better choice for me at this time in my life. I felt anger, betrayal, extreme sadness and disappointment which turned into love, forgiveness, heart warming and faith. I feel honored that the Author shared this unimaginable life story with us and gave me hope that we WILL reunite with our loved ones. Thank you Julianne!

This book will keep your attention. It does have an element of surprise, but most of the story is predictable. Julianne Maclean is a very talented writer.

This was not a planned read for me. In fact I have had it for several weeks and choose others to read. Thankfully , I picked it up two days ago and could not put it down. I loved this. I was facinated with all the characters and felt their pain, sorrow, and passion.

I did enjoy this book.
I was annoyed about the mother sharing such intimate parts of her life with her daughter, until I realized that this was a true story and one cannot be judgemental about what was shared in the ether. Still, this is a good book that reaffirms what is unknown to us.
I also lost a baby of 4 months old and while lying devastated on my bed I heard a voice coming into my head from the light fixture in the middle of the ceiling. And what I heard clearly in my head and not from my ears was that she said “don’t worry mommy, I’m okay “.

This is a lovely, touching and unusual story and one I greatly enjoyed. I'll certainly get more by her. The cover photo is smashing on this, too.
She'd put in a lot of research regarding an illness that features which is impressive. I guessed certain things about the content and what was going to happen or had occurred already but that spoilt nothing about it and I won't spoil it for anybody else here.
I did spot mistakes (of course)...I thought this was an odd sentence-"Are you finished your coffee yet" ? It seems to have dropped a word to me though it could be an American figure of speech. The same as "she treaded water with me"....ouch. That made me wince. Spit was used where spat should've been and at one point (47% in) she suddenly swapped first person to third for a few pages which was weird. About was missing in one sentence and so were speechmarks. However, that's a pretty respectable tally for an unknown author to me. Plenty of Amazon bestsellers have a far worse record in e-book presentation.
I thought Michael's behaviour was appalling but I was pleased to see not all her male characters were blessed with his particular brand of.....whatever !!
There were some nice little passages featured that were also thought-provoking...or they should be (and were in my case). I can't say too much more without giving parts away and therefore won't remark on characters I particularly liked or despised. Do give it a go, it's a super story.

You would believe the characters really exist, the emotions are so dead on it makes you wonder if the author did loose a child, but despite the sadness, there is also a lot of love and hope. Beautiful book. I finished it in the middle of the night because I couldn't drop it...

Die Geschichte bringt Ueberraschungen. Keine endlosen Bedszenen. Die Geschichte ist gut lesbar. Sinnvolle Unterteilung der Geschichte. Doch noch ein Happyend.
