Lisa is helping me remember that I need to slow down in order to speed up. Get clear, take the time to discover the *real* reasons I want to look and feel a certain way, and to make the path forward simpler and easier to navigate, identifying roadblocks and ways to work around them.
Some of the things Lisa suggests I've been doing on my journey back to health, and I'm here to say they work: intermittent fasting, gluten-free eating (and to be clear: GF cookies are still processed food, eh!) and morning routine. What was missing for me for a while was regular exercise because I had so much pain and lack of energy. NOW, I realize that I can do something every day, and I'll feel better. When we feel better, we make better choices.
I could go on and on, but will end with this: this book will help you get clear about what you want and WHY you want it, and map out simple, yet easy-to-follow, holistic program to not only ditching the last (however many) pounds, but also shedding the weight of life that has been holding you back from reaching other goals. Watch the spillover into other areas in your life where you've been setting goals. I've only been upping my game for a couple of weeks, and while I decided not to weigh myself for 30 days, I am getting compliments, my energy and mind are clearer, and I can exercise with heavier weights and short bursts of running, which I've not been able to do for 3 years. I'm celebrating this, and enjoying the journey back to wellness and vitality. Get this book! You'll be glad you did. Take control like a BOSS!
