This story just holds you and won’t let you put it down.

Tommy is nothing like the stereotypical motorcycle guy. He was raised and faced so much wrong even for a motorcycle club. His dad was way too much even for a heartless guy. Tommy has done plenty wrong but is not on the right path and thank goodness he ends up helping Tara.

Tara in her own way helps Tommy resolve the issues he hasn’t faced while facing her own problems. Together they melt your heart. I’m happy with the “ending” but want more about this couple. This is not a cliffhanger yet it feels like the complete story for these two is not finished. I would recommend this book. It will keep you interested to the very end.

I’m always game for a new MC romance and the blurbs for this series’ books teased with the promise of suspense and sexy tension (the best kind!). Tommy was the MC’s VP but he wanted out. Why that is makes for riveting story-telling as the secrets and intrigue around his biker family are anything but tame. And Tommy himself? He is gruff, harsh and has no time or inclination for any of the usual niceties. When Tara crosses his path, he is unexpectedly protective as he sees her differently than any other woman.

“Don’t know what it is about her, but she makes me want to strut around like a peacock.”

The story was told from alternating points of view so to hear his unfiltered inner thoughts added so much to that crusty outer persona. A good thing, because that persona was actually pretty jerk-ish. I know, I know, it’s an MC romance for heaven’s sake – what else would I expect for a tough biker? But it surprises each and every time when women are treated as less…

Thankfully, Tommy redeems himself as he puts Tara’s troubles ahead of his own. If the problems plaguing Tommy are life-threatening than he had a lot more in common with Tara than either suspected. Tara’s story is complex so throwing that in with Tommy’s dilemma made for a powder keg of possibilities.

Be prepared to answers and a lot of questions as Tara and Tommy find common ground while the stories that surround them continue… There is more and I can’t wait!

This is a new to me author who writes the romances that I love to read. Tara is coming from way too much childhood abuse but then, so is Tommy. Tommy just seems to have survived it better despite what he had to do to get there. It simply goes to show that childhood abuse can not only be survived, thriving is possible! While the story is filled with hope, it also deals with dark material. I received a gifted copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review. I honestly love this story and this author!

This book was an amazing read it's about a girl looking for her missing sister. Both girls have had a horde experience growing up but they take different paths. One goes on to be a womens counsellor but has issues with her sexuality. The other one has more confidence and laughs in the face of misfortune.
Both girls see their paths cross the same motorcycle club and again their paths take different routes. As they are occur at different times. Their paths finally cross again by chance and things turn around for both girls in this story.
I really liked Tommy the main male character and the path that he chooses. It has to be one of the hardest anyone in his position has to choose but the fact that he does is amazing.
This book does have a HEA.
