Ravaged: His For A Week is book two; in the previous book in this series, Kimani’s roommate, Marissa participated in a secret auction, to earn considerable money without considering the risks it entailed and upon her return to her apartment her roommate Kimani saw she had been beaten up and taken advantage. Kimani a junior unexperienced free-lance journalist participated in the auction, the Scarlet Auction, with the intent of exposing its sordid business, where women sold themselves for a week to the highest bidder. Jake’s first purchase, a blond virgin named Claire, and his second purchase Kimani. Jake, in his juvenile crassness with few redeeming qualities, had hit Kimani on her face hard enough to leave a bruise before Ben had arrived. With no experience working undercover she keeps screwing up at every opportunity. Unbeknownst to the women, their week is to be an escape to a luxury cabin in Trinity County for a combination pleasure get-away and business meeting between sophisticated Ben and a couple of overaged frat boys, Jake, Derek, and Jason.

Working undercover she had be extra careful not to compromise the story and or its subjects while attempting to maintain her own journalistic integrity. Yet, she becomes sexually involved with one of the subjects, Benjamin Dmitri Lee the son of one of the wealthiest families in the world. Kimani has no communications available to her except Ben’s cell phone to call her editor, Sam Green with the bits of information, and that she is okay. Irrespective of her cover story, with the text messages and call number, Ben

While Ben takes Kimani onto Jake’s boat without a shred of clothing he gives her a dress for some time away from the cabin with a drive to explore the rugged, beautiful forested Trinity County roads visiting Weaverville for an afternoon. Kimani’s strident hostility takes on an almost game like interplay because she didn’t want to cede control yet she knew she was stuck between a rock and a hard place at every turn. Clearly for Ben the sparing was part of the fun in consensually training and especially the disciplining. That she wasn’t a well behaved sub and Ben was always three steps ahead of Kimani makes for a good read. This book is much better written than the first in the series. I recommend this book; however, the typos and grammatical errors need a better proof reading.

In Part Two of the His For a Week series, Ben ups the ante on Kimani. He is figuring out that she is not what, or who, she says she is. While Kimani can’t decide whether or not he is to be trusted. What they both can’t deny is that the attraction and lust between them is amped up, much higher than expected. And Ben plans to test every single one of her limits.
There are a few things that are a bit off, but they are easily overlooked. Definitely worth the read, and to keep reading to find out what happens next.

This is a BDSM book.
Kimani, an aspiring journalist, goes undercover as a participant at an underground auction. The auction sells women to the highest bidder for one week of kinky sex. Her best friend and roommate had done the auction, but instead of a week of pleasure, she returned brutally beaten and abused. Kimani wants to find out who destroyed her best friend and write an exposé of the auction.

Ben purchased Kimani for one week of sexual play from a business associate. He’s a Dom with beliefs in Taoism and incorporates the philosophy into his sexual interludes. Kimani aka Pet, has experience with BDSM, but not to the extent she indicated on the auction paperwork. Master Ben quickly realizes this, but the challenge to get her to submit willingly is the ultimate prize. He also knows his inquisitive pet is hiding something after catching several lies.

Overall, this is an excellent written story. There are a few editing errors, but not enough to distract the flow. Sexy time and steam is hot enough to burn your kindle. My least favorite part is the timeline. There is a lot of background, telling of Kimani’s intentions, the other characters and two and a half days that Ben & his Pet are together. Yes, I understand this book is part of a series, but I hoped to get more than a travel day, their day at the cabin and a partial day in San Francisco. The penthouse playroom scene is intense, burning hot and communicates the relationship well.

This is NOT a standalone book, but the ending is done really well. It gives the reader something to look forward to. As an avid reader, I found it refreshing and look forward to reading the remainder of this series. Yes, highly recommend!

Okay, contrary to my initial review of the first book, I did buy this book and read it. I was bored and needed a mindless read. This book was better than the first. There was more plot to grab onto, and enough character development for me to actually wonder what would happen to the characters. I still think Kimani is being ridiculous. She's the least discreet undercover journalist I can imagine. But I like how she really doesn't resist Ben. She's definitely getting into her role as his pet. The other male characters redeemed themselves (a little bit) in this book, but Derek remains a complete tyrant with no redeeming qualities. There's a cliffhanger at the end of course, and I'm sure I'll buy the third book in August.

Amazing, this story seems to be getting better and better as it goes along. I must say, my heart goes out to Claire. She is so innocent, but is stuck with Jake. On the other hand Kimani and Benjamin seem to be progress well together. I have to say for as much as Kamani wants revenge, her curiosity with Benjamin seems to be fighting just as much importance. I love how she is warming up to the different aspects of D/s play. At the same time I am curious about the information she is giving to Sam and how it will Benjamin and the others.

After buying her one week contract from an abuser, Ben tries to keep it about sex. Epic fail.

Kimani needs to get the story of the Scarlet Auction to get a newspaper job, but is troubled by feelings for Ben, and her reaction to the BDSM dynamic they share.

Great depiction of a Dom grooming a new to the lifestyle submissive. Hot sex. Believable characters. Buy, enjoy.

I’m loving this series so far- literally obsessed. Read so quickly during my day off and now going to buy the next book because I love it. Can’t believe I have just come across this author. Still find Kimani the worst undercover journalist, but plot is entertaining. The smut scenes are wowzers.

I’ve found the first 2 books absolutely captivating, as I’ve said before I’m a really slow reader and read this book in a day.. Once you start you just can’t seem to put it down you just want more.. Not so keen on one of the characters, but there meant be a bad guy in most book so totally get that...

Happy reading really enjoyed the first 2 books can’t wait for the 3 that I’m going to start straight away...

These books are good but far too spread out in a money grabbing scheme. The ending is flat and rushed as well and Kimani starts as a strong character but gets weak and floppy towards the end.

The saga continues and it doesn't disappoint. Here we sink further into the world of Kimani and Benjamin.

Benjamin reveals more of his wants and lusts and leads Kimani down the path of undiscovered desires.

Kimani tries hard to remain remote and professional but Benjamin's playroom is calling and to stay in the game she has to play.

Will Benjamin discover Kimani's true intentions or will Kimani totally submit to Benjamin's desires.

Enjoy peeps 😉
