I really loved the first book the second I did up until you killed Seth off. I'm done I just can't keep going 😩. I'm sooooo freaking mad. I don't want to even continue with the series. So much bad going on with too little to keep hope for. There needs to be a better balance between the 2. You downplayed Seth and Mei's connection too much. I mean you didn't give us anything to look forward too.

The worldbuilding shows more growth here with tantalising hints of so much more to see in the books universe.

I've already started book 3.
