Witches in Wonderland (Wicked in Moonhaven~A Paranormal Cozy Book 3) Kindle Edition
A deputy sheriff from a long line of hunters, an apprentice witch from a long line of sorcerers~what can they possibly have in common? Never mind~Shane McAllister and Haley Greco will ride this lovely wave as long as they can make it last.
In the meantime, they’re each working to clean up the strange town of Moonhaven with its Alice in Wonderland themes and its oddball inhabitants, trying to solve a few murders and find out what happened to Haley’s missing family. If only Haley’s grandmother—the one who brought her back from the dead—wouldn’t always seem to be the guilty party. Just what is she planning, anyway? A Mad Hatter's game of Musical Chairs?

There is a film company who rented the place to record and produce an episode of Ghost Hunters.
Later that night one of the film crew is found murdered on the property.
I loved the new characters and hope Mandy stays on in future books. Gran Ana relieves more about herself also. You are still not all that sure if she is good or not, or if she is just semi-good and what is her ultimate goal. Haley, like the reader, is swayed between liking her and being very afraid of her. It just adds to the mystery.
This book opens with another murder in Moohaven and her friend Rennie Dobbs is right in the middle of a group of artists who rented the childhood home of Haley to find ghosts. Rennie’s brother Gordon is the prime suspect of the murder.
Shane McAllister the Deputy Sheriff has asked Haley nicely to stay away from investigating and the author’s does a good job of showing the relationship between Shane and Haley growing. I like the introduction of Mandy Vega and hope that she will be in book 4. Krissy, Haley’s business partner and her young son Gavin have only a minor role in this story.
I found that this 3rd book like book 2 was slow going at first, but did pick up and actually left you wanting to know more of Haley’s story by the end. I was provided with an advance copy of this book for a fair review which I hope I have provided to you. I just don't feel this series has the grab you in on the first page that Ms. Winter's and Ms. Kahn's book offer.
