Good story. This is book 3 and Haley still has amnesia. Many things in Moonhaven are not as they seem. The story has several cute creatures and some real evil personas. We learn a little more about Haley's background and watch her powers get stronger. Of course, book 4 promises to reveal more. These characters are fully developed. The plot has plenty of twists!

They live in a haven, where many witches, ghosts, vampires, etc live and the mysteries they live out. Another cantputdownable must read.

Loved seeing just how much Haley has grown and what she was able to learn about herself and her family. Shane is completely an enigma, you are not sure about him just like Haley is not sure about him. I am looking forward to seeing what happens between Shane and Haley.

I loved the new characters and hope Mandy stays on in future books. Gran Ana relieves more about herself also. You are still not all that sure if she is good or not, or if she is just semi-good and what is her ultimate goal. Haley, like the reader, is swayed between liking her and being very afraid of her. It just adds to the mystery.

Book 3 of Wicked in Moohaven still finds Haley Greco with amnesia and funny things occurring at her Grand Ana’s home, scenes similar to Alice in Wonderland. Which I have to say really couldn’t figure out how that came into the storyline. Meanwhile Haley continues to ask for facts of how she recovered from drowning and where are her parents and brother are?

This book opens with another murder in Moohaven and her friend Rennie Dobbs is right in the middle of a group of artists who rented the childhood home of Haley to find ghosts. Rennie’s brother Gordon is the prime suspect of the murder.

Shane McAllister the Deputy Sheriff has asked Haley nicely to stay away from investigating and the author’s does a good job of showing the relationship between Shane and Haley growing. I like the introduction of Mandy Vega and hope that she will be in book 4. Krissy, Haley’s business partner and her young son Gavin have only a minor role in this story.

I found that this 3rd book like book 2 was slow going at first, but did pick up and actually left you wanting to know more of Haley’s story by the end. I was provided with an advance copy of this book for a fair review which I hope I have provided to you. I just don't feel this series has the grab you in on the first page that Ms. Winter's and Ms. Kahn's book offer.

I always feel frustrated, confused, and irritated while reading this series. Since I imagine these are feelings Haley shares, the authors are either incredibly deft at drawing the reader into their world or incredibly chaotic writers (but I don't know which is correct!). The way Haley handles the "doomed" reality of her relationship with Shane is mature and a bit heartbreaking. The introduction of Mandy and Shrimp adds charm, a little more backstory for Haley, and a much-needed support system for the plucky witch-in-training. Gran Ana is unlikable and seems to only consider Haley as something to use, but I do find her assessment of her son intriguing; his choice to leave takes on a certain significance... I must see something in the chaos, because I am grabbing Book 4!
