Well written! And not a single '5'2 bomb, or porn scene! Way to go! See people, you can have an intense who done it mystery and not have to use foul language or sky scenes to get your readers attention. Loved it it's up there with Michel Bennett series! Thank you!

I thought this was a good story but there is way too much detail. For example every single thought and movement including conversation is written about. I don't think it needs so much and would probably be more exciting and faster paced if it was cut down a bit to more basics.

Chris Mercer (35, Brother’s Subs sandwich franchise owner; x 4) was on his 2nd. marriage.
Miramar. Arriving home from a trip he knew Grace Mercer (36, Chris’ 2nd. wife, Realforce Realty) was lying.
She had been banging Nick Ludwig for quite some time. He was later killed.
Officer Rey (Midwest Patrol District), & Officer Donaghy (35+, Midwest Patrol District), greeted
Lieutenant Nash Harrington (25+, narrator, Miami-Dade PD; homicide) at the crime scene.
Colt Greenway (35+, Miami-Dade Crime Lab) soon arrived.
Detective Luis Garcia (Miami-Dade PD; homicide), Detective Daniel Ryan (35+, Miami-Dade PD; homicide), & Bill “Skip” Skipman (ME), were right behind.
Susanne Osborne (prostitute) was killed & her body was found in a motel dumpster.
Grace had asked Chris to pick up a few things from the store.
Sergeant Steve Walsh (Miami-Dade PD) went to both Brother’s Subs sandwich & Realforce Realty for some interviews.
Doral. The Miami-Dade Homicide Bureau meeting had been called to order. Those in attendance were: Colt (crime lab), Wade Woznacki (Tech Center), Captain Halloway, Lieutenant Harrington (day shift), Sergeant Walsh, Detective Garcia, Detective Ryan & Lieutenant Dave Ramirez (night shift).
John Stanley (neighbor) came over to tell Chris Lieutenant Harrington (day shift) who had left his card, he wanted to talk with him.
Grace Mercer had been zipped in bag (bludgeoned/stabbed throat), & was laying in the tub.
John’s body was right by hers.
Craig Town (crime lab tech), & Bert (coroner) were checking everything out.

Lieutenant Nash Harrington (Miami-Dade PD), & Sergeant Steve Walsh (Miami-Dade PD) were interviewing Leslie Roshard (owner) about Laurie Jillette (34, Amy’s BFF, murdered).
Jackson Memorial Hospital. Lieutenant Amy Solvo (daughter/sister, Nash’s GF, woman’s apparel general mgr.) had been successfully operated on. The knife stabbing in her neck had missed her vital organs.
What had Wade (technician) found?
Dr. Prentice informed the family she was in room # 217 recovering,
Mary (wife/mother), Keith (60+, husband/father, retired), Kelly (daughter/sister), & Brad (Kelly’s ex-husband), were headed that way.
Lucky (dog) was still at the Nash’s house.
Chris Mercer had been watching the news.
Would the killer get caught & brought to justice?

A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. Wow, a very well written murder crime thriller book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great cop murder crime thriller movie, or better yet a mini TV series. To be continued. A very easy rating of 5 stars.

Altogether this was an adequate read BUT it had some flaws....the PROS, it was fast paced, which I loved, and kept you reading; the character of Lt Harrington is interesting & for the most part I liked him....I also thought the way the homicides were handled was spot on; the CONS are very glaring; I couldn’t fathom any cop leaving his back door ajar while he’s not home, even for the dog, without some sort of security system. My husband is retired LEO & that sort of carelessness just doesn’t happen...you’re asking to be robbed or worse! There were several little things that I didn’t think a real LEO would do....for example, when the Lt’s dog tried to warn him of someone hiding in his home, the Lt Just brushed it off....a real cop would have searched the entire house if his dog acted like that....I didn’t like all the extreme details about the layout of streets & neighborhood, found myself skipping all that unnecessary info...to sum up, the author did a great job of keeping your attention...would recommend.

This bad guy has killed once before and not been caught! Now, he has made up his mind that more people are going to die by his hand, and boy do they ever. The dog, Lucky, is a hero!

Reinhard has provided enough action to last a good month for the most hungry reader. In addition he takes the time to create meaningful relationships between his characters. So we end up with a well rounded cast and a plot line that keeps us reading. Also I should add that should someone want a police procedural they will find it between the covers of Wrath. Have never been a cop, but Reinhard follows what I believe to be a true rendition of what a PD would do, think and feel in case such as Wrath. Don’t worry about Reinhard, do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of Wrath.

5.0 out of 5 stars A SUPERIOR FIRST OF A SERIES EPIC OF MURDER, PSYCOTIC STUPIDITY, AND SUPERLATIVE POLICE WORK. A GUARANTEED ALL NIGHTER.
Reviewed in Canada on July 7, 2018
First off, let me say that I'm a huge fan of police murder mysteries - my all time favorite genre, period. Secondly, let me say that this stand alone novel by E H Reinhard is pretty much at the pinacle of that genre. Extremely well written - I litterally couldn't put it down. Interestingly enough, it's not a police mystery, persay, in that everyone knows who the killer is right from the getgo. That's after he kills his unfaithful wife, then her lover, and then proceeds to try to delete all females who he psycoticly preceives as having ever wronged him at anytime in the past. Our lead, Lt. Harrington's girlfriend is one of them. There are genuinely cringeworthy events in here, and scary things happen that fearfully glue you to the pages. And yes, the bad guy, of course eventually gets stopped, but what a rollercoaster ride to get there. Well thought out, logically laid out, and about as perfectly written as a book can be. Anyone who passes on this read as an excellently priced first of a series, is, quite frankly, nuts.

Novel approach for me, knowing the perp from the start. Good hunt but sometimes feels a little amateurish? Still had a good time.
