Hi

I live in England and have three children, two birth children and one adopted. When I left school I held a clerical position in the civil service, which I left to start a family. At the same time I became a foster carer, which is the inspiration for much of my writing. I have been a foster carer for over twenty-five years and am what's known as a specialist foster carer, sometimes referred to as a level 3 carer. This is in recognition of my experience and qualifications and means that I am often asked to look after children with complex needs or very challenging behaviour. I have a degree in education and psychology which I was awarded as a mature student.

I have always been a writer - from when I was at school, with poems in the school magazine. In my teens I began writing short stories, articles, a few radio plays, and entering writing competitions. Like many writers it was a hobby - something I did almost furtively in my spare time, while working, and then later fostering and looking after my family. The two halves of my life - writer and foster carer - came together in 2007 when I wrote about a child I'd fostered and the book immediately became a number one best seller. Since then there have been many bestsellers, thanks to you, my readers. I really appreciate all your support and best wishes.

Cathy is a kind hearted woman who will never turn her back on any child. From the most difficult of teens to the most vulnerable infant. she pours herself into each case no matter how horrific. Although some of the information about fostering is repeated in each of her books, you find yourself sucked into her stories so much that you may need those moments of “Information “just so you can catch your breath. r

This is the first book that I’ve read by this author and I enjoyed it as much as I would expect when reading about something as despicable as child abuse. I would recommend it and plan to order more by C. Glass.

This was the most difficult books yet to read but in a good way, I went through all emotions from happy to fear to sad to relieved to happy and cried so hard. What an amazing young lady to over come so much. My heart goes out to her. I will for sure check for her update I would love to know how she does in life.

Mrs. Glass has a real calling to nurture children via Foster Care, and still meets the needs of her own three children. Her cases are not shock stories intended to appeal to prurient interests. I admire her greatly!

As always Cathy Glass' new book is excellent. The horrific story behind this book made me cry and makes you think about all the children in the world who go through the same all deal.
Nothing negative to say about this book, you definitely need to read this book and all the other books if you haven't yet.

Cathy’s ability to tell the hard stories in her way that touches you and draws you in never ceases to amaze. It took me a while to start this one after downloading as I know I need time once I start one of Cathy’s books as I rarely put one down. This was no exception.
