The vivid vocabulary and the way the author established the personalities for each character made for an intriguing read. I will definitely recommend this book to others.

True friendship endures all obstacles…right? Three college friends search for true love, NFL fame, and a successful engineering career. Will one friend’s quest for happiness endanger all three of their lives? Naïve, romantic Melody Wilkins aims to find true love at college just like her parents. But will she sacrifice her soul to obtain it? No-nonsense Imani Jordan strives for good grades and a chemical engineering degree. When a friendship offers more, will she follow her head or her heart? Lance Dunn is only serious about two things: football and protecting his girls, Melody and Imani. When a threat enters their lives and tests their friendship, can he stop it before it kills them? After the torrents of jealousy, sex, and abuse subside, will their friendship survive…The Colors of Friendship?
One Reviewer Notes:
I just finished the book and I want to congratulate the author on a job well done!! It's a story of a group of college friends and all their adventures.... the characters were well developed and the she dealt with lots of relevant issues about life in college today. Physical/mental abuse, sexuality & cultural differences were just a few of the issues dealt with, and not in a preachy way. I really loved how Lance looked out for his "girls", and how they all had each other's back! The way they shared the fun and challenges of college life was so entertaining and brought me back to my college days!! Every girl needs a Lance during their college experience!!! To me this was kind of a modern day "Different World", and I can't wait to read the next book!!!
