Here's the set-up:
An edgy, suspenseful thriller. An unforgettable story. DEATH OF A GURU It’s 1992, and not all is paradise on the white sand beaches of Thailand. Magnus Larsen is a young American yearning for home when a strange series of events brings him face to face with a charismatic guru. A dynamic friendship ensues, and Magnus is drawn into an intrigue that exhilarates and terrifies him. Devon Clarke, a man with a tortured past, has reinvented himself as the guru Dadaram, and his plan for his own spiritual redemption is brutal. He uses Anna, a beautiful and obedient devotee, to ensnare Magnus in a scheme that tears his life apart, and leads him on an obsessive, murderous pursuit throughout Southeast Asia. A tale of murder and revenge wrapped in layers of mystery, it’s also an epic odyssey of the spirit that brings Magnus to a shocking conclusion. "In this wildly complex and tautly composed thriller set in Southeast Asia, author Doug Greenall marries the ferocious beating heart of Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness ... to the exotic plunge into madness found in the 1990's cult classic The Beach by Alex Garland." (from the 5-star Blue Ink Review) "Readers will find that they are both entertained and intrigued by the author’s shining example of literary brilliance. This book follows the intertwined lives of the two primary characters Dr. Devon Clarke and “Magic” Magnus Larsen as they each embark on a life-altering journey that embodies spirituality, redemption, rebirth, love, and the dark side of the human psyche.” Lisa Brown-Gilbert, Hollywood Book Reviews (from the 5 Star Review)

Do u need a kindle to use the koll? Or just be a prime member?

  2. bryan mooney on June 22, 2012 at 10:54 am

I did not see my book, The Potus Papers on your list. I subscribed to Amaszon KDP a couple of days ao and made it avaialable through their prime program. Do I need to register here as well to hav emy book available? Please advise.

  3. Nola on June 3, 2012 at 9:17 pm

How do I make a book available for lending?

  4. Jaxs on April 17, 2012 at 1:34 am

It would appear that all the books in the Mystery & Thriller genre were either for prime members or for sale. I spent several hours browsing and didn’t find one free book in this category but there were many as high as 9.99& up. Perhaps it would be fair to split the categories further into Prime members vs. truly free. Thanks

    • Kindle Nation on April 18, 2012 at 8:13 am

Thanks for being in touch! Two things worth mentioning.

First, we do split all our lists into Free, Quality 99-centers, and Prime-eligible, so it’s always worth double checking in the left sidebar to make sure you are on the right list.

Second, I noticed that your email address has a .ca suffix, so I just want to mention this disclaimer from our site:

References to prices on this website refer to prices on the main Amazon.com website for US customers. Prices will vary for readers located outside the US, and prices for US customers may change at any time. Always check the price on Amazon before making a purchase.

      Cheers,
      Steve

  5. kristina on February 10, 2012 at 9:22 am

Why are all the books only free for prime members? Seems hardly fair.

  6. Dawn on November 30, 2011 at 8:31 am

The books you are listing now are only free if you have Amazon Prime which is not free.
