Here's the set-up:
Native Recipes from the Grandmother by Wisdomkeeper, is pubilshed by Books We Love.It is traditional for First Nation’s people to give thanks, and acknowledge our relations, to the plants, animals, birds and creatures from the water, to show respect for their giving their spirits in order for others to survive. Traditionally elders say prayers to commemorate this sacrifice at a feast gathering. During these gatherings the people shared their recipes and often demonstrated the preparation and cooking of food. Elders would pass on ancient food gathering and preparation guides to the younger members of the tribe. Because of this tradition of passing on the wisdom of the tribe from generation to generation, First Nation’s people became increasingly skilled in the art of drying and preparing foods, herbs and berries with each passing generation. The Medicine men and women of the tribes were gifted healers trained by generations of ancestors in the art of using the gifts of Mother Earth to heal the people of their tribes.

THANK YOU for making these cookbooks available for the Kindle! I have been collecting cookbooks for years and find the e-cookbook so much easier to sit down and enjoy searching for the perfect recipe. Much easier to surround myself with 30 e-books than 30 hardback books!
Id love to see these seperated into catagories. For example Im looking for crock pot cookbooks and cooking on a budget meal idea cookbooks only. It would be nice to be able to seperate them out without looking at every cookbook listed.
Due to the economy, I would love to see some books on canning, dehydration, freezing and other food preservation methods. Maybe also books on food staples you can make yourself… cheese, yogurt, etc. Food you can produce yourself in your kitchen like sprouts and herbs would fit in the economical category as well. Thank you to all the authors and to Amazon for providing all of these free and reasonably priced books so we can all continue to grow in those dark economic times. Thank you kindlenationdaily.com for making them easily accessible to us!
This site is the best! I recently discovered a kindly app for my Android.I didn’t know there were so many free books of all genres available. Since I found this site I have no need for any other sites.
I too, want to say THANK YOU! for offering this service!
Suddenly finding out you have to make big changes in your eating habits can be a little overwhelming. You have made it a lot easier!
While would be great, I am Thankful we are not looking at 100 pages!
Dah! Getting used to a new device.
Categories would be great…. but happy not 100 pages…..
Thank you for helping those of us who might not be quite so wealthy collect some nice cookbooks along with other more “interesting” books. Kindle’s the best. Thanks, Amazon!
so glad I joined kindlenation
bits of news, information and sites to click on to the free books within my interest areas
Thank you very much for the Indian cookbook for children.
If you substitute men/doubtfully spicy bods it is perfect also.
More of this type in the Indian range, mexican range etc. especially as I adore spicy foods and he does not, neither does daughter or grandchildren – they are experimenting when they are in the mood!
Thanks much for this. I love cookbooks!
