Here's the set-up:
The past has a way of haunting those who want to forget it most... Meniari has fallen in love with Kya, but all bets are off when his ex, a former Sanctum warrior, shows up with ideas of rekindling the fire that once burned between them. Tamuel has come to the Sanctum too, along with his rebellious guiding angel, Kellan. He's finally received permission to return to the angelic realms - as long as Miriel agrees to crush his heart to end his mortal life. Kellan's onboard with that, because he can't have his wings back until Tam dies. The only obstacle is Amaya... and Tam's mysterious fascination with Circe's former lover. While Miri and Andrieu grapple with circumstances at the Sanctum, Fortune and his Demesne warriors are carrying out Ilea's orders to clean up the haven's clubs in Saint Rushton. Things are going well, until Circe sends Maksim and his vampires to Saint Rushton. Sabotage and spying are the games, but the players get more than they bargained for, after Circe receives a photo of Amaya on Tamuel's arm. Overwhelmed with bloodlust and fury, she breaks human and vampiric law, causing dire consequences. As dangerous conflicts arise in the havens, Saan meets Sebastien's first Mate, Sabine, in the hereafter. He may think his work in the realm of the living is done, but Sabine brings him a surprising plea for help. Can he reach out to the male who allowed his death? Bound by threads from the past and the hereafter, shocking events unfold that will bring warriors to their knees and test the courage of angels. Sanctum Illusions: Shadow Havens Book 4 contains descriptive material and scenes of explicit sexual encounters between consenting male and female adult characters. It is intended for adult readers only. Don't miss the excerpt from Sanctum Storm: Shadow Havens Book 5 at the conclusion of Sanctum Illusions: Shadow Havens Book 4! Approximately 117,000 words. Why is the freebie Kindle books offer not available to UK?

    • Kindle Nation on August 2, 2011 at 9:17 am

Hi Elaine! Wish it was, but there are territorial differences in rights, promotions, and costs. That said, check http://amzn.to/UK-KINDLE-FREEBIES and you’ll find plenty of free titles for UK Kindle customers!

      Cheers,
      Steve

    • Suzanne Perdue on June 17, 2012 at 7:56 pm

Wow! I love my Kindle and I love free books! since I am disabled and on Social Security I have a hard time finding books at the used bookstore I haven’t read. This sight is great for me-I can sit here and order books to read as often as I can!

      • debz on September 21, 2012 at 2:44 am

Suzanne, I am in agreement with you. I, too, am on Social Security and the money we get sure doesn’t let you do much with it, therefore, getting free books from this site is great. I spent a lot of time in the library in order to read, which was a hassle when I have to have someone take me to do everything. This site lets me gets dozens of books and I don’t have to worry about bringing them back and due dates. I hate due dates!! <3 8-)

        • Marilyn on March 13, 2013 at 3:56 pm

I agree. Free is always good. I’m also on SSI and love this site.

I would like to thank you for the freebie kindle books. If it wasn’t for the free books I wouldn’t get to use my kindle as much as I do. I have enjoyed all the free books I have gotten so far. I look forward to seeing what is next when I receive my e-mail everyday. And, again I thank you for offering something for free.

  3. lynn neal on November 15, 2011 at 10:38 pm

  8. Sally Putirskis on January 2, 2012 at 6:09 pm

Thanks for all the free kindle books. Love reading my romances but being disabled doesn’t leave a lot of room for paying for books as fast as I read them, needless to say my KINDLE is never far from my hands. Thanks again to all the authors who are kind enough to release some of their books to us of those who can’t afford them.

    • debz on September 21, 2012 at 2:47 am

Hear!! Hear!! Books are expensive these days and with this economy it’s just getting worse. Thank you, again, Authors for releasing your books to be free for a limited time for those of us that can’t afford to buy books anymore. <3 8-)

  9. Candace Roberts on January 3, 2012 at 4:41 pm

  11. Lena Bowers on January 10, 2012 at 5:56 pm

I just have a question. I notice lately that the free books count may be as much as over 100 some days. But on my Kindle when I search, I never have as many to search through as Kindle Nation Daily announces on my Kindle. Is that normal? Do you have to come online on the computer to see the complete list? I have not quite understood how things work with the new search method, because there are never as many books as it says are free showing up on my Kindle. Your help would be appreciated! Thanks!

  12. Lena Bowers on January 10, 2012 at 6:02 pm

Oh, I forgot to say thanks! I do appreciate the free books and bargain books that come out. I am disabled, so reading takes up a great part of my day. I love my Kindle & even on my budget, there is always something good to read on my Kindle. If the Kindle Fire had 3G capabilities, I would have gotten one, but until something better comes out, I am loving my Kindle 3G + Wi-Fi/keyboard. I have so-o-o many free books. Thanks!

  13. Cheryl on January 12, 2012 at 6:18 am

Thank you so much for the list of free books. I have often searched the Kindle Book Store for free romance ebooks and it is not as easy as one would think. This list has a good selection of books, of which I have downloaded many. This is a great way to discover new authors. The authors I like I will seek out other books they have written, whether they are free or not. This site is a new favourite.

  14. Betty on January 28, 2012 at 4:35 pm

Love it, Love it, Love it, I have a book allowence budgeted into my expenses. I am retired, read everything, but enjoy a romance with a happy ending. Real life is hard enough. Your free book tool allows me to read for pleasure and not have to worry about busting my book budget because there are books aplenty when the budgets exhausted. Good books too!!! Thank you very much.

  15. Michelle Hughes (@MichelleHughes_) on February 11, 2012 at 8:22 pm

Thank you for the wonderful selection of free books for kindle! Im a new kindle owner and quickly found your sight after doing a search for ‘free kindle books’ and I dont feel the need to look anywhere else because your selection is huge!!

  18. Terri on May 8, 2012 at 8:15 pm

I love my freebies and truly appreciate this service….I just with that erotic fiction didn’t show up under general fiction. It needs to be in its own place so I don’t have to look at the titles unless I deliberately choose to do so. Also wish you could look by authors as well as categories. But I do Love MY fee kindle newsletter.

  19. Debbie on May 20, 2012 at 4:12 pm

I am an avid reader. I read fast, and until I got my Kindle and found this site, was having to go to the used book stores and buy their 5 cent books (I couldn’t even afford the 1/2 priced books, I red so fast!) Now I can read as much as I like because this site lets me find virtually every genre and type book I could ever want! thanks so much for the free books! They let us folks on retirement read without breaking the bank!

  22. lingerie on June 26, 2012 at 3:28 pm

  23. Carrie on August 1, 2012 at 8:57 am

Wow there are a lot of us disabled people here. When it comes to reading I’m a diehard book fan. I read a novel almost everyday and even if I worked full time most likely I wouldn’t be able to support my reading habit. Not that I don’t still buy a lot of books I do. All the freebies I find here allow me to spend my free time the way I love best, reading. Thank you Kindle Nation. Thank you Author’s for your great work and thank you Amazon.

  24. Brenda Helman on August 12, 2012 at 5:15 pm

  26. debz on September 21, 2012 at 2:52 am

Thank you, KND, for all the free books that you hunt for to give those of us that can’t afford to buy them due to disabilities (SSI) or whatever else may be the problem (a lagging economic society). This site allows me to get books and I am always not far from my Kindle Fire or Kindle Keyboard to keep me company. I am able to search for my favorite genre’s to read (mystery/thriller, romance, and humor) and have found several authors that I wouldn’t of looked at before or maybe weren’t available to me at the store. <3 8-)

  27. Marion on September 28, 2012 at 2:54 pm

Thank you Amazon so much for all the free books. Here we can explore new genres and autors we otherwise never would consider to just buy and read. It’s nice to have a library without being in a rush. My kindle is full with great books and I think my kindle is the greatest gift I ever got. Thanks, Thanks a lot for supporting a great hobby for all readers! I’m a big fan!
