On a routine visit to meet an informant he is one of three people who get hit with something the media call an “air-quake”. After a week in a coma, Bryce wakes with a new vision.

He can see the Other Side.

His son who died a year ago passes his hospital room door. A woman shows up by his hospital bed out of nowhere and issues a warning and a message. The people responsible for the air-quake have a larger device. In days they will detonate it downtown Los Angeles. These people want Bryce dead. Taking out his son last year was meant to deter him. The air-quake was meant to kill him. They missed twice.

They won’t miss again.
