Here's the set-up:

However, there's a problem. Somebody is keeping dangerous secrets from them both. THE TRAZ is as daring, raw, and spirited as the young heroine. It’s exhilarating entertainment but it also contains a vital message for those on the cusp of maturity and for the adults who guide them.

Wow! What an awesome find! As a provisional psychologist working with youth & teens in various northern Alberta group homes, I found this book to be an amazingly insightful story paralleling so many youth I work with. Schuh does a wonderful job tapping into the emotions and psyche of the troubled teen. Sharing stories is a basic of psychology, and this book is a great tool in connecting with and engaging teens to share their stories. Bravo!
