Miles was born in 1982, and has been fortunate to have lived in a dozen countries, learning a number of languages in the process. Before publishing Little Angels' Mothers he had written and published mainly poetry and short stories in French, Spanish, German and English. His favorite authors are Dostoyevsky, Lem, Borges and Bolaño. Human and women's rights have been his main preoccupation throughout the career. He currently lives in Geneva, Switzerland, where he works for the HQ of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

The book is great, completely mad and unpredictable, with a huge payoff, BUT my favorite part was actually somewhere in the middle, when the mythical TEAM EARTH is being put together to go into the mysterious SPHERE and prevent the end of the world. H-i-l-a-r-i-o-u-s.
