This is an insightful and funny look at the problem that men have with shopping, which as every man knows, is a female sport. Pat Hester shows us, among much else, the "Black Friday is sinister and evil." He describes how shoppers act, walk, and gaze at items. Black Friday is somewhat like "the Running of the Bulls tradition in Pamplona, Spain." He tells us that "It was created to let people experience what a prison riot felt like from the inside. He gives us a lesson what we should not say to a salesperson: "I'm just looking." Readers, even women, will find themselves identifying with his descriptions and laughing.

About the Author
In his impressive and highly prolific writing career, Pat Hester hasn't written any bestsellers. Nor has he authored any great literature of distinction. However, he has written his signature on many fascinating surfaces including personal checks, tax forms, and a credit card receipt from last night's dinner. Also, some of his columns have appeared in The Kansas City Star. "Christmas Mall Follies" is his first book.
