Young is an excellent author who captures different personalities well. I've enjoyed every book of hers I've ever read. This story is particularly good, in that it moves the focus from Vernetta to one of her close friends, Special, and you learn a lot more about the wider world of Vernetta. Excellent novel and I hope Ms. Young has many more novels to come!
