Michael was born during a winter blizzard in the late 70's. He grew up in the Boonies and spent his first decade of life fighting monsters, aliens, werewolves and vampires. He quit school the first day of his senior year of high school and along with his band members and girlfriend, took a greyhound bus to Fairfax California, something he had always dreamed about doing. After nine months and many crazy experiences and soup kitchens he and his girlfriend returned to NY with a baby on the way. Joining the workforce with blue hair and no education that mattered to the "real world trolls" he began to work toward supporting his new family. Three years later the family grew with the addition of a baby girl. Michael spent 14 years at a Casino dealing cards and later as a manager. He has recently quit his day job to focus on writing full-time. He is still married to his high school sweetheart.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was entertaining and I really cared about the characters as the story moved along. An easy read but one that kept me turning the pages. I love finding series that are already out and I don't have to wait for the next book. Now i can go straight to Book 2!!!
