One Reviewer Notes:
This is a book that always keeps you guessing. Just when you think you know what is going to happen, wow, it does not. You just want to keep reading this book. I liked the main character Alyce, she has flaws which is why I think she is likeable. Too many stories I have read where you really cannot identify with one or more of the people in the book. Being someone with a British heritage who has done extensive genealogy searches on my own family tree, I find the historical background lends to the storyline.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and recommend it highly. Kudos to the author for keeping me on edge and in suspense.
