This was very fun to read, very sexy, and I can't wait to read the next installment, due to the massive cliffhanger at the end of that issue!

Here's the set-up:
Libby the Loser. That's what everyone used to call me behind my back. I wasn't popular, I wasn't strong, I wasn't brave.

All that changed after a chance encounter in a Canberra nightclub. Afterward, I began to dream; dream I was something else. A powerful creature of muscles and claws, something powerful and confident and everything I wasn't.

I dreamed I was in love with a man I'd barely met.

The dream world is a beautiful, wondrous place, but there's a shadow in my dreams. An eclipse, broken with a gunshot. Then I wake up.

Now my dreams are coming true. My body is changing for real. I'm shedding Libby the Loser like an old skin. I'm growing into something else.

But there are others. Others like me, and they don't get along. People are disappearing. People are dying.

The shadow is falling over the real world, too, and everything has changed.
One Reviewer Notes:
The truth is, Rakshasa, while spicy and sultry and steaming, at it's heart has this blooming romance which you can't help but to be impressed by. Alica Knight did a beautiful job of letting that stand on it's own two feet, giving readers something to root hard for. And there's danger. And there's a urban legend. It's sort of a delicious mix of a lot of really good things that has sincere promise to get better and better and better.

About the Author
My name is Alica (sometimes Alex if I My name is Alica (sometimes Alex if I'm feeling tomboyish) and this is my biography. I write romance and, occasionally, erotica. I went to a really wild college, so some of my stuff is based on my real life experiences. Sometimes a story is a retelling of how it went down, with names changed to protect the guilty. Sometimes it's just how I wished it *could* have gone down, but I crashed and burned in some way, or things didn't plan out the way I wanted them to. Sometimes a story is the road not taken... those are the interesting ones. Enjoy.
