Take this opportunity to start with the popular Divine Intervention, the first mystery thriller in Tardif’s Divine Series, now on sale for the low price of $1.99. Writer’s Digest says of Divine Intervention, “An exciting book from start to finish… plenty of surprising twists and turns. Good writing, good book! Sci-fi and mystery fans will love this book.”

Here’s the set-up:

CFBI Agent and Pyro-Psychic Jasi McLellan battles a serious infection that threatens to claim her life. Slipping in and out of consciousness, she remembers the Parliament Murders…

One by one, members of Ontario’s Parliament are disappearing, only to be found days later, disoriented and drugged. Or worse―dead. Police are stumped and the CFBI brings in a covert PSI team, agents with special psychic abilities.

Accompanied by Psychometric Empath Ben Roberts and new team member Victim Empath Natassia Prushenko, Jasi heads for Ottawa and uncovers a plot so devious that Canada’s national security is at risk. If that isn’t enough to deal with, Jasi bumps into old flame, Zane Underhill, who wants to rekindle their relationship that ended three years earlier.

But the investigation takes precedent and Jasi is forced to place her feelings for Zane on hold in order to find a killer who has more than justice in mind for his victims, and in the end she makes a gut-wrenching decision―one that will cost the life of someone close to her.

One Reviewer Notes:

Divine Justice is enough to turn even the most die-hard paranormal romance fan…cough…into a mysteries lover. And a thriller lover. And a suspense love…you get my point. I love the way the book starts – with the main character (Jasi) lying comatose in a bed. At first glance I couldn’t see how this would pan out; how can you create a story when your main character is unconscious? But then Tardiff unveils this whole enthralling tale involving Jasi, without the woman moving one inch from the bed.

“There are two distinctly different but intertwining storylines wound through the book, both of which are written beautifully… These two storylines are described as `a prequel within a sequel’ They relate to the first book within the series – Divine Intervention. In that book, Jasi received a gunshot wound which went septic, receives a concussion and brain swelling. But in Divine Justice Jasi can’t even rest when she’s unconscious! Trapped in her coma, Jasi relives the Parliament Murders. These occurred in Divine Intervention but involved members of Ontario’s Parliament slipping off the face of the planet. They turn up eventually, either drugged to the eyeballs or dead. While she’s reliving the murders, her family and friends are firmly in the present, standing watch.

–Emma Butler, author of dystopian romance
