A completely original tale that never comes up short. Machado's greatest forte is still her ability to create characters that are not only relatable, but remain original and unforgettable; the characters serve as a vessel to immerse us in a world that is beautifully crafted and incredibly deep. Everything about this novel falls perfectly into place, it follows a steady pace that will keep you glued until the last page. Two thumbs up for Mrs. Machado!
