The story reminds me of one of my favorite shows "Heroes". Each paranormal ability differs with the individual, but they use it to the best that they can.
I enjoyed the story, and the twists as well.
A good read.

Here's the set-up:
The announcement that the plague has left some survivors with paranormal side-effects, has left the world reeling. You'd think solving murders would be easy for Claire, a telepath, and Colin, who can turn into a spirit wolf, but you'd be dead wrong. Not everyone is willing to talk to Survivors so it is a good thing you can't tell who's normal and who isn't.
One Reviewer Notes:
I always like a good mystery and I especially like it when I don't have it all figured out until the end. The Puzzle Keeper kept me wondering right up until the end. While I wouldn't normally go with books involving the paranormal, this aspect of the book actually provided a lot of interesting twists to the story.
The main character, Claire, is not your normal detective nor is her partner Colin. Both are Survivors with paranormal skills. Otherwise normal people with extrodinary abilities. I'd say more, but I don't want to spoil it for you.
I received this book as a gift and was very pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. I found it creative, very original and well written.
