A Unique Mystery In Which Bullets Aren’t Enough…but Faith and Love May Be. Here’s a free sample of our eBook of the Day, Scott Nicholson’s Transparent Lovers

Here’s the set-up for Scott Nicholson’s Transparent Lovers:

Private investigator Richard Steele must solve his most difficult case ever—his own murder—while caught between women on both sides of the grave. His lover Lee is tangled up in the mess he left behind, and his dead ex-wife Diana has been waiting on the other side for her chance at revenge.

In a race against time as his spirit slips away, Richard confronts his many, many failings and faces a power beyond his understanding–love. His only weapon is faith, and he’s running out of bullets.

It’s going to be a hell of a final showdown.

DRM-free. About 22,000 words, equivalent of about 110 book pages. Includes the bonus ghost story “She Climbs a Winding Stair.”

Reviewers Have Said:

“Always surprises and always entertains.” – Jonathan Maberry, Patient Zero

“He has entered a literary shadowland between Ray Bradbury and Neil Gaiman.” – Sharyn McCrumb

I live in the Southern Appalachian Mountains, and much of my fiction is based on mountain legends, local haunted places, and strange events. I was inspired by my grandmother’s storytelling, and have always written as long as I can remember.

My novels include the Kindle bestsellers Disintegration, The Red Church, Speed Dating with the Dead, and The Skull Ring, as well as eight other novels, including the urban fantasy Cursed! with J.R. Rain and the paranormal romance series October Girls. I’ve also created the comics Grave Conditions and DIRT and have written six screenplays, several of which are available on Kindle.

My web site www.hauntedcomputer.com has writing advice, fiction excerpts, art and samples from my comic books, my movie work, and numerous essays.

Crime doesn’t pay…but neither does journalism. DRM-free and 99 cents for a limited time.
