That’s where Red Adept comes in. She reads tons of Kindle books, and she really reads them. Then she breaks them down for us in nicely structured reviews and sometimes even takes the extra step of sharing an author interview. I have been following her blog for over a year and I find it one of the most valuable sources of information about good reading anywhere on the web … or on my Kindle. Let me be clear about this: there aren’t a lot of Kindle blogs that I would recommend, but Red Adept Reviews is at the top of my list. -S.W.)

If you’re a reader looking for good honest reviews with thoughtful detail, Red gives hard-hitting reviews that tell you everything you need to know about buying a book. I like that she takes on indie authors because it is so hard to know what you are buying in this field. I think it gives good authors credibility and struggling authors somewhere to start working on their manuscripts. A four star rating is good for this reviewer.
If you’re an author looking for automatic 5-star reviews, go elsewhere. I wanted to put in this review because I knew that some disgruntled authors would try to badmouth this reviewer. Good reviewers are both loved and hated by authors.
To those who are familiar with her work, Red has made a name for herself by providing consumers with honest and discerning feedback about the books she reads. Red Adept’s Kindle Book Review Blog is her vehicle to get her reviews to as many people as possible. Her goal? To help readers make informed decisions about potential books.
With the onslaught of books being published by both traditional and independent presses, her blog is a much needed public service. Now that technology has made it possible that anyone with access to the internet can publish a book, more than ever before, consumers need a place that they can go to help them wade through a limitless sea of books in order to find the ones that fits their taste. In this difficult economy where people are especially careful about how and where they spend their money, a blog such as the one Red has created is an invaluable resource.
As far as I am concerned, Red’s blog has arrived just in the nick of time. Readers everywhere will be in good hands with Red Adept’s Kindle Book Review Blog. Whether you agree with her reviews or not, you can trust that her opinion will be clear and well stated. That kind of honesty is worth far more than the price of her blog.
