In a dark future where resources are scarce and pregnancy is heavily taxed, pediatric surgeon Eric Winslow has performed an illegal surgery to save a child’s life. Forced to take the identity of a singer, Snake, he is driven to continue his care for children, and is soon arrested by officer Jerome Running Crane. But events come full circle when Running Crane and his sister find that Snake’s passion to heal can save their dreams and their Assiniboine native bloodline.
