Jacqueline Brockert was born in New London, Iowa. After college, she lived in Crested Butte Colorado, Dallas Texas, Flushing, and Brooklyn New York. After having two children, she settled back in her home state of Iowa. She began her career in both sales and restaurant management. At fifty, she was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Currently, she is active in test studies spearheaded by the Michael J. Fox foundation. At fifty three, she partnered with her son specializing in communication and marketing, which launched her writing career.
