After purchasing the older edition, I was just in time to grab the 2012 version ... on Christmas Day. This is perfect for newbies like myself who just bought their first kindles. I own the kindle fire and was thinking of purchasing the kindle touch to carry to work, because it is lighter in weight, and I might be able to carry it in the side pocket of my scrub pants. This book was great in explaining the differences among the various kindles and what they can and can not do. Still on the fence about purchasing the kindle touch, but thanks to this book, I will not be going into it blind. Oh and don't forget the web links to various sites for free book lists. Great book!
