Lilla’s growth as a character is even more prevalent in this science fiction book. She must convince the Teryn’s that the Arch Goddess of Eternal Light & Order needs the Teryn army to join her ranks against the Archgod of Chaos & Destruction. Additionally, Lilla must convince her adversaries that she is worthy of being Sybil to the Last Era War.

Excellent character development is something you can expect in this fantasy sci-fi book. Since most of the characters are familiar due to the 1st book, Blaise further expands on her characters. Blaise is able to add complexity & detail to the characters, which helps create the authenticity of this sci-fi saga.

As for the author herself, Blaise has completed her 2nd sci-fi fantasy book & her beautiful style as an author allows the magic in True Teryn to come alive. She continues to build upon her action sci-fi series with fascinating plot progression, which includes: an action-adventure quest, unlikely alliances, heavy emotions, inspiration from supporting characters & even a small amount of heart-felt alien romance.

Do you need to read the 1st book in this series before reading the 2nd? This young adult book is a perfect blend of being a stand-alone sci-fi book, while also being a sequel. Blaise even added a glossary to the back of this fantasy book, which can help anyone keep up.
