For assistant district attorney Ben Lovison, life couldn’t be any sweeter. He has a job that he loves and a beautiful wife who is set to deliver their twin boys any day now. Admittedly, I’m heavily influenced by books like the “The Firm” (Grisham), “Primal Fear” (Diehl), and “Intensity” (Koontz), books that snatch readers up, looping them around a few times before letting them off. I guess that’s also why I like roller coasters. They’re scary-fun. That was mostly my goal with Fathers House. I wanted to create something gripping, but entertaining. But also being a fan of stories with hidden messages, I couldn’t help but splash some of those in there as well.
