The author’s…slow unveiling of supernatural events and of the emotional lives of his characters is so believable and authentically rendered that the story line ensnares readers nonetheless. This is yet another adroitly crafted thriller from Hynd.

This spooky follow-up confirms that he’s made the right choice.
