...This book kept me riveted from the beginning. As a mother, the motivation of the protagonist was understandable. The content of the book can be disturbing but it is not meant to exploit children. Rather, it gives a realistic view inside a predator's mind. The investigation and family's reactions into children's disappearances tugs at any parent's heartstrings. I definitely recommend this book if you love suspense, action, and reminders of people willing to go out on a limb to help a child come home. You leave this story hating the fact that there is such cruelty in the world, but feeling better that there may be people in the world that will do anything it takes to bring a monster to justice.
