Here's the set-up:
When a young woman vanishes without a trace from a quaint fishing village on the coast of England, only one person knows the truth, but he remains silent allowing the authorities to search for her in vain.

Meanwhile, Valerie Crane finds herself transported to the year 1605. Terrified and confused, she turns for help to the Whitfield brothers, who take her in and offer her a home. Both Alexander and Finlay Whitfield fall in love with the mysterious woman, who shows up on their doorstep, creating a love triangle that threatens to consume them all. Valerie must make her choice, deciding between the brother who will lead her down the path of destruction, or one who will give her a love she couldn’t find in her own time.
One Reviewer Notes:
This was my third book by this author and I wasn't disappointed. I could feel Valerie's fear and dispair as she found herself trapped in the past and tried to make a life for herself in the 17th Century. Her relationship with the Whitfield brothers was delicious and I couldn't wait to see which one she was going to end up with. I don't want to give anything away, but there were some unexpected twists and turns and the Gunpowder Plot served as a good political backdrop for the story. The ending made me think that there might be a sequel. I hope that's the case because I would love to find out what happened next and if Valerie's sister followed her into the past once she found out what happened to her sister.

About the Author
There is nothing I enjoy more than a good book that takes me away from my everyday stresses and problems. I particularly like books that are set in the past, where the characters must navigate the volatile political climates of their time, while still managing to live, love, and cause mischief.

I There is nothing I enjoy more than a good book that takes me away from my everyday stresses and problems. I particularly like books that are set in the past, where the characters must navigate the volatile political climates of their time, while still managing to live, love, and cause mischief. I've always had a particular fascination with the paranormal, and I explore some of these themes in my books. I believe that nothing is truly impossible. A true love can transcend space and time, and live on forever.
