Kindle Nation Daily Bargain Book Alert: Laura Vosika’s BLUE BELLS OF SCOTLAND is Our eBook of the Day at just $2.99, with 4.6 Stars on 36 Reviews, and Here’s a Free Sample!

Here’s the set-up for Laura Vosika’s Blue Bells of Scotland, just $2.99 on Kindle:

Shawn Kleiner has it all: money, fame, a skyrocketing career as an international musical phenomenon, his beautiful girlfriend Amy, and all the women he wants — until the night Amy has enough and leaves him stranded in a Scottish castle tower.

He wakes up to find himself mistaken for Niall Campbell, medieval Highland warrior. Soon after, he is sent shimmying down a wind-torn castle wall into a dangerous cross country trek with Niall’s tempting, but knife-wielding fiancee. They are pursued by English soldiers and a Scottish traitor who want Niall dead.

Thrown forward in time, Niall learns history’s horrifying account of his own death, and of the Scots’ slaughter at Bannockburn. Undaunted, he navigates the roiled waters of Shawn’s life– pregnant girlfriend, amorous fans, enemies, and gambling debts— seeking a way to leap back across time to save his people, especially his beloved Allene. His growing fondness for Shawn’s life brings him face to face with his own weakness and teaches him the true meaning of faith.

Blue Bells of Scotland is both a historical adventure and a tale of redemption that will be remembered long after the last page has been turned.

From the reviewers:

Blue Bells Of Scotland is some of the best writing it has been my pleasure to read in some time. At first I was beginning to wonder where it was going. The more I read the less I cared where it was going because Ms Vosika kept me wrapped up in what was happening every moment.  –  Jarrel R. Jackson

Absolutely fabulous story.  What if you could swap your life with someone in years long past? It’s one of those questions I ask myself a lot. This book explores the possibilities of time travel and changing personalities.   –  Kat Yares

One of the most intriguing stories of Scottish history I have ever read. The characters came alive and through their experiences of love, loss, hope and redemption, I learned there is a bit of good in everyone. The time travel adventures combined with the historical perspective were riveting. I eagerly anticipate the sequels that are to come!  –  Ladybird

One Reviewer Notes:
I loved everything about this book: the plot, the characters, the settings, the time travel! I really appreciate how cleverly Laura Vosika wove the plot and developed the characters without using objectionable language or imagery. The imagery that she does use, though, paints vivid pictures of Medieval and modern day Scotland. She also shows the reader how multidimensional the characters are. For example, you see how "slimy" the main character can be, yet you find yourself still caring about him and seeing the potential in him... I can't wait to read the next book in this trilogy!
