Someone is picking off a coven of witches one by one. Can Sgt. Nick Gibson and his team of detectives catch the killer before he loses the pretty witch who’s got him under her spell?

Nick must cast aside his disbelief and delve into the world of the supernatural to solve the case. On hand to help is Annaliese, a member of the coven who claims to have had a prophetic dream at the exact time of each victim’s death, offering clues to the identity of the killer.

Can he accept the ‘proof’ offered by unconventional means or is she deliberately leading him astray to hide her own secrets? To cloud the issue, a local evangelist is telling anyone who asks that the victims had it coming. Is religious mania the motive for murder, or is it something more personal?

From the reviewers:

For anyone who has doubts about the quality of self-published books, I have a suggestion for you that can be summed up in two words: Lisa Olsen.  Lisa Olsen is one of the finest new authors to come along in recent years. I’ll be doing reviews for her other books in the weeks to come, but let’s start with Pretty Witches All in a Row. In this spectacular novel, she blends the police procedural with elements of the supernatural that makes me think of Jim Butcher’s Dresden Files series. – Norma Beishir

“Pretty Witches All in a Row” is another great murder mystery by Lisa Olsen. It’s easy to read and hard to put down. This story not only has all the twists and turns of the classic serial killer murder mystery it also once again very adeptly portrays modern policework and the men and women who do it.   –  “Charliecrw”

I was incredibly happy with reading this story! The characters were strong and interesting. I loved the strong detail related to police work and found the perspective from the male protagonist refreshing. It kept me reading through to the end without lagging. I enjoyed the supernatural side, unforced and natural it fit well in the genre  –  Erin Lausten

Pretty Witches All in a Row delivers a compelling crime procedural that kept me guessing the whole way through. Throw in a supernatural twist with magic and a coven of witches, and we’re in for quite a ride. Author Lisa Olsen balances the thrills and chills of paranormal mystery with a generous helping of humor, quick banter and well developed characters. I hope we’ll see this cast of characters again; it’d be a crime not to see where they go next.

From the Author:  Feedback is Love, If you enjoyed this book, please leave a review today! I am currently working on Nine Steps to Sara, a paranormal/ghost thriller.

I am a writer, wife and mother of two currently living in the Pacific Northwest. I am a complete TV addict (have to have it on at all times, even when I’m writing). I also enjoy online RPG’s, singing, reading, cooking… lots more I can’t think of at the moment

The supernatural has long been my favorite to write and read. Werewolves, vampires, witchcraft, ghosts, things that go bump in the night; these are a few of my favorite things to write about. Not sparkly beings with phenomenal cosmic power that are always the smartest, bravest, prettiest Mary Sue to walk the planet, but real people who just happen to have this little quirk…

I have just finished the third book in the Fallen series, Mercy for the Damned and am working on Let Sleeping Ghosts Lie, a paranormal/ghost thriller. For more information on my current writing exploits, please visit my website at http://www.lisaolsen.net

Kindle Nation Daily Bargain Book Alert: Lisa Olsen’s THE TOUCH is Our eBook of the Day at just $2.99, with 5.0 Stars on 7 Reviews, and Here’s a Free Sample!

Here’s the set-up for Lisa Olsen’s The Touch, just $2.99 on Kindle:

Lexi Morgan has always had The Touch; the ability to pick up an object and ‘see’ its past.  Doomed to wearing protective gloves at all times, she learned to accept it as equal parts gift and curse.

When her brother in law Neil disappears, she’d rather tell her sister to celebrate than try to help find the jerk. But after her young niece vanishes as well, it’s time to put her gift to good use and help track her down, especially when handsome Detective Gabriel Ryan takes over the case.

When the investigation leads them to the restless spirits of long dead children, they must work together to keep history from repeating itself before it’s too late.

Editorial review:

Lisa Olsen gives us a darker trip into the paranormal with her sophomore book, The Touch. Lexi has the gift of psychometry, the ability to read past memories of an object. She quickly becomes embroiled in a police investigation into her sister’s family which brings her into contact with Detective Gabriel Ryan, a face from the past. The third person POV allows for better access into the investigation, following Detective Ryan, and offers just enough insight into the crime procedure without becoming weighed down by it. Adding to the mix is the presence of ghosts, each with their own agenda. The Touch offers the quick, witty banter this author is becoming known for, while adding a fair amount of suspense and chills from the otherworldly characters.

From the reviewers:

Gripping thrill ride.  This book is excellent, but it’s two strongest points are the characters and author’s ability to weave a thriller that never slows down. Lexi is a very in-depth character and is about as realistic as they come.  –  Michael A. Saxton

This book was great! It had a wonderful blend of Supernatural, mystery and romance. the ghost children were creepy but not over the top, and the ending was unexpected, but in a great way. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, I couldn’t put it down  – R. Padgett

The Touch is an amazing book with suspense, murder, and creepy ghost children. I loved Lexi’s character, and many of the lesser characters were very colorful in their own way. I didn’t expect the ending to be how it was at all; I found myself on the edge of my seat to figure out what happened to everyone and who would be okay. A very entertaining read, but I don’t suggest reading it late at night in absolute silence, it’s creepy!  –  Emily

Kindle Nation Daily Bargain Book Alert: Let author Lisa Olsen be your guide to the supernatural in our eBook of the Day, ANGEL OF MERCY (The Fallen) – 8 Straight Rave Reviews, Just $2.99 on Kindle – Here’s a Free Sample!

Here’s the set-up for Lisa Olsen’s Angel of Mercy, just $2.99 on Kindle :

When Mercy wakes up in the hospital after a brutal stabbing, she has little recollection of the attack; only the blurred memories of a mysterious stranger with piercing blue eyes that haunts her dreams.

After spotting the same man, that only she can see, Mercy follows him home, brazenly confronting him. (Kids at home, never do that!) Her savior turns out to be less than human, or is it more?

Samael is a fallen angel, bound to the Earth and living out his life among humans but apart from them. Unwilling to let an innocent die, Sam bestowed some of his Grace to Mercy, healing her wounds and imbuing her with some of his angelic powers.

Thrust into a world within her own where angels and demons coexist unseen by mortals, Mercy must learn to accept the fact that she is no longer strictly human; she is something new. Complicating things is Adamiel, the reckless fallen angel who is Sam’s enigmatic friend.

Equal parts information and aggravation, Sam and Adam help Mercy acclimate to her new life.  But now Mercy’s eyes are opened to a whole new world beyond the human realm… and their eyes are opened to her.

From the reviewers:

Author Lisa Olsen gives us a sympathetic character in Mercy Renault.  Her quirky voice leads us through the twists and turns as Mercy tries to find her footing, merging her ordinary life with her newfound angelic abilities.  Samael, the introverted fallen angel who accidentally gives Mercy some of his power, is frustratingly literal-minded and little help in her quest to find out what she is.  Sexy bad boy Adam adds just the right amount of friction to her already complicated life and I wasn’t sure if she should kiss him or smack him upside the head.  You might be tempted to cry at the end, but only because you’ve been so caught up in what comes next; it’s a crime that the story is over.   The first in a series, we can only hope that the sequel ties up some of the burning questions we’re left with.

“Great read! I really loved it, and can’t wait for the sequel to come out. My imagination is running wild!” –Marilyn W, AZ

“This book was amazing. I couldn’t put it down. I feel like I know these people now, and I can’t wait to find out what comes next. I mean, what’s not to like? Hot detectives, hot angels, that are fallen to boot, and new superpowers…Mercy is living my dream life.”
–Randi P, OH

“Angel of Mercy” is the story of Merceline, a woman who unexpectedly finds herself thrust in the world of angels and demons after a near death experience leaves her healed by a fallen angel and imbued with some of his powers.   From page one, there was never a moment when I got bored and wanted to put the book down.   –  Amanda Mclain

Are you curious about the balance between good and evil? I enjoyed reading about the surface plot and the not-so-obvious sub-plots as they enfolded. I really couldn’t put this book down it moved so quickly. I sometimes found myself having to reread a section to see if that is what she REALLY said. Wow! It expanded my mind a bit, and made me look around at some of the people I know to wonder, ‘what if’ they might be from another world? another existence? a life beyond what we seem to see?   –   Sprtwareor
