I’ll be honest; I’ve made some terrible choices in my life. Decisions that I knew were wrong, but I made them anyway.

My most recent transgression, however, was by far my worst and also the reason I was burying my face in alcohol on a night when I should’ve been happily celebrating.

No, this isn’t the story about how I joined some 12-step program and turned my life around. It is, however, the story of what happened on that one New Year’s Eve, the night when the two clocks tattooed on my forearms began to turn.

Since then, I’ve shattered the barrier between time and space, I’ve been to the Axis of Time, (the place where time itself stands still), and I’ve beheld the vastness of the great Multiverse, the roof under which infinite worlds reside.

But now, having been thrown into time by a deranged madman, I must somehow find a way to survive in an apocalyptic alternate reality if I’m ever to make it back home…to my children and the woman I love.
